welcome swallows

There are many of these tiny swallows that hang around at our house. They eat the bugs that our compost barrels attract. I have counted 14 at one time, flitting though the sky. I wish I could catch one in flight--they are so graceful. They put on a show for me each evening.

Lovely shot of these beautiful birds. They are so hard to photograph - they move so fast.

I guess swallows are everywhere - I see them high above my backyard - but I can't keep them in focus in my camera!

How sweet they are! We have swallows that come every spring and leave in September. They are a joy to watch. xo Karen

Delightful little things. I have often tried to catch swallows in flight with indeterminate success. but it always is enticing to have another go.

I love to watch swallows (we have a lot of them around where we stay in Oregon in the summer) but I've never even been able to get a good still picture. You captured them beautifully here.

Oh my, these little swallows are adorably sweet, one seems to be posing for you. I love to capture birds in flight too, but they fly away so fast! Good luck :)

I remember taking a couple of shots of these elegant Hirundo neoxena the first time I went to Aussie!
